Loop C was nicely spaced out. Loop A had a lot of wet areas and therefore a lot of Mosquitos.

Campground was incredibly clean, and the hosts were wonderful. Will be staying here again!

The campground host, Kevin, was fantastic! He gave us great information for local sites and park information. The camp was clean... like really really clean!!!

From our campsite, we saw deer, a moose, and a bald eagle that flew right at eye level through the camp. There was also a male pheasant somewhere nearby doing his mating ritual with his wings every morning and afternoon/evening. It was amazing being immersed with nature.

For geology buffs, this area has endless opportunities to experience the wide variety of geologic features. Earthquake Lake interpretive center was definitely worth the stop to put the enormity of the event in perspective. Plus the location puts one being able to look directly at the slide area. I was simply awestruck. Driving down 287 towards 191, we stopped at a lot of the pullouts. The descriptions were vivid and made you feel like you were there.

On another day, we went up to Bozeman via 191 and stopped in Big Sky. That was gorgeous. Then we came back via 287. Holy wow!!! I highly recommend that circle. Stunning views in all directions!

It was a spectacular trip! The only thing that no one can change was the morning temps. Brrrr, definitely bring warm clothing for the mornings! This Arizona girl was cold. We've are already thinking about our next trip. We want to camp there again. It was a great experience!

The campground was big! We set our tent up in the night so it was difficult to set the tent on uneven ground close to the fire ring on the upper level. We ended up setting the tent in the car parking area.

The toilets were super clean and gave us a good sense of hygiene. The area around the camp grounds is beautiful.
