The per campsite, per night price posted at the campground was $9.00 less than what Recreation.gov charges. This is a nice wooded campground with decent spacing but how quiet it is depends on the parties camping nearby as with pretty much all campgrounds these days. The mosquitoes were moderately bad in mid-June.

Great place-quiet bunch of campers, mostly fishers. The campsite is pretty boggy in places and had tons of mosquitos beginning of July.

The location is great. The campsites are rugged but easy to access. Bathrooms were excellent. But really the other campers are what ruins it no matter where you go. Do people leave anything at home any more? The noise from arguing families, generators,TVs,backup beepers after dark you name it transform a peaceful, quiet setting into any-burb USA. But as I said it is a nice place to camp. Just goes to show; no matter where you go, there you are.

Such a beautiful spot! The wildflowers were amazing, and watching the pelicans on the lake was a highlight of my trip.

I took the time to pull up a bunch of knap weed. I put it on the garbage can and the gal emptying the garbage just pushed it off on to the ground. I didn't like that...

Nice location but the campsites in loop A are not well designed. Basically they are just dug out of the hill with a front end loader. The outhouse had more bugs than we have seen anywhere, though clean and smelled well. High price for this type of site and facility. Loop C is much better but we did not know that until we got there. Pictures on the website are not useful as they show so little of the campsite.
