Great spot right on the Gallatin River. A lot of traffic and road noise from vehicles to and from Big Sky. No cell service there at all. Fly fishing only feet away though! Only a hand pump for water. No dump station.

We enjoyed our first-time stay at Moose Creek Flat Campground. We especially liked the Gallatin River being right next to the campground with easy access for fishing or launching rafts. There are no rv hookups but water is available as well as restrooms. We didn’t use the restrooms so we cannot comment on them, however many campers used them & they didn’t seem to be grossed out afterwards. We camped in a 33ft fifth wheel & there was plenty of room for our truck. Campsites were nicely spread out from one another with each having their own picnic table & fire ring. There is no foliage or trees in the campsites which means less mosquitos🤗 The only negative is the traffic noise as the campground is right next to the highway, but you soon tune it out. We would stay here again.
