The campground is located in a spectacular location of beauty surrounding from all sides. We have been coming to this campground for many years. 30 years to be exact. It has always been a place we have held close to our hearts as a memorable and very enjoyable quiet location until now. This last trip that we made was interrupted with the loud noise of cars racing up and down the road with loud mufflers. At one point there was a car spinning out in the parking lot at Chisholm Trail Head. I ran up to the parking lot as did another camper and we chased the young kids out of the parking lot. This was a daily issue and could be corrected if there were speed bumps along the road along the lake from the entrance up to the gravel road. Also parking blocks installed in the parking lot to mitigate the ability of spinning cars around the lot. This area is a place of relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. Not a speed raceway. Having rangers or sheriffs patrolling the area and ticketing those racing along the road up to and along the lake would help. We as well as the other party we camped with as well as the other campers at the site were very disappointed with what was taking place. I hope something is done to keep this from continuing so others can enjoy the quiet serenity that was once experienced at this location.

First time camping with our 2 year old and couldnt have had a better experience. The creek provided much entertainment and just a short walk to the reservoir.

Small and basic but enjoyable campsite. Campsite #1 does not have easy access to the lake, but is only a short drive to the day area.

We very much enjoyed the week at Chisolm Creek Campground. It was very peaceful with it being a small campground of only 10 spots. We loved the close proximity to biking trails, being able to easily get on the lake to kayak and many trails to hike! The bathrooms in the campground were kept clean but not so much at the boat loading areas.

Wonderful spot by the creek to drown out any noise from neighbors and the bathroom is close, but not too close. Great loop to walk about and close to the Chisholm area nearby for longer walks, plus quick access to the reservoir and other hiking paths. Gorgeous spot!

This campsite near the reservoir lets you launch whenever you want to. There are many hikes very near the campsite too. The water running down from the mountains is very soothing. Very roomy campsite.

No one made us aware of the massive construction happening across all campgrounds at this location. I went camping to "get aware from it all", having dump trucks driving by all day long was not what I had in mind.
