The area is fantastic, but your facilities leave a bit to be desired. The tables are half rotted. One table at one location is so close to the ground it is unusable. One fire ring is completely rusted through. One site does not even have a bear box (very unsafe!) You charge a hefty fee for use and do not put any resources back into the infrastructure.

We scored this amazing tent site only 4 days prior and couldnt be more thrilled! Being just feet away from the creek and at the base of beautiful mountains has us already making plans to return. Our only regret is that we could only stay 1 night.

Lovely campground. Campground employees were very helpful. Very clean toilets and campsites. Campsites are well-spaced, especially on the upper loop. The Forest Service and concessions are working hard to repair the damage from the flooding.

Upper Parkside camping areas along the creek are all very nice. We camped before the Memorial Day weekend crush and the campground(s) were nearly empty! Beautiful! Wish campers could learn to not deface/destroy the trees. Teach your children well.

We have stayed before at Parkside. Most of the spots are large which provides space from your neighbors. Restrooms are always clean and mostly odor free
