This place is quiet, beautiful, and a great jumping off point for exploration! We had a great weekend there and will be back. Camp Host Joe was a joy and gave us lots of ideas for future exploration!

Pretty site with lots of room for a large group of people. The biggest negative is that outside people constantly flow through this reserved campsite to use the one bathroom in the entire area. They seemed to be locals as they knew exactly where to drive and park to use the bathroom. Had 4x4 vehicles (quads and side by sides) constantly buzzing around the site with little regard for dust, noise, or safety of the children running around. Day trippers parked their cars right in the middle of our group and used the one open table left. This site is good if you want to make new friends with strangers, otherwise I don't recommend it. We won't be coming back.
