Very nice for campground. great for hiking and kayaking. Wish they had more sites as it is very hard to get a site here.

Beautiful, small campground with large, private, level sites. Flower beds at entrance are gorgeous. I stayed 13 nights and enjoyed the trail system. Theres one bathhouse with one shower per gender. Hosts keep it clean and stocked. So, why 3 stars? The hot water in shower is erratic. Its hot for a minute or two, but then goes cold.

We love this campground. It is always very quiet and the hosts are great. The bathrooms are always clean and there’s plentiful for hot water for showers. There’s plenty of great hiking. Deary Brothers ice cream in the nearby town is excellent!

Nice private sites. Great hiking and kayaking. A bit of road noise at night.

I camp nearly every year at this campground, first in tents and now with a popup camper. The sites are impeccable, the campground hosts are warm and wonderful, and the rest rooms and showers are always very clean.

My only 'complaint' would be the earlier time the gates get locked, 9PM instead of 10PM in the previous years. Since I was raised in the area and come to visit friends and family mostly in Worcester the earlier time can be a detriment. I know you can park outside the gates and walk in but since I usually camp alone walking in the dark to my campsite is not really an option.

That said- there's also a benefit to the 9PM close time. The park is quiet and there's rarely vehicle traffic past that time. I would however prefer a return to the 10PM time.
