This site has been a family favorite gathering place once a year for about 10 years now. We love how it is tucked back from the main road, but has a lively creek to cool off in and allow the kids to play until we go over to the reservoir. The Ranger that checked on us was a nice man as well. The lock on the toilet has been broken for a few years so I recommend devising a plan when going with a group to alert them that youre in there.Id like a reserved sign at the gate down the road to keep others from venturing all the way there and turning around in the campsite.

This is a great site but one of the smaller "group" sites. If you have several couples, this can hold about 3-4 four to six person tents total, and an additional two campers in the parking area. Parking is sufficient and not an issue, its just the site that is small for being a "group" site. I would suggest 3 tents max, and a camper or two. Our 16ft camper fit just fine.

Stars were amazing. location is great. Off the road, can't hear any traffic, and you have the area to yourself. Would HIGHLY recommend this site.

Loved the privacy of the group site. No traffic coming into site, except for occasional ranger. We were able to fit two trailers and 4 cars easily. We also had a tent set up in the walk-down site next to creek. There is only morning minimal shade so it was quite warm in afternoon (we stayed mid-June). The vault toilets were clean and checked daily by rangers. Potable water pump available onsite. Only delta: vault toilet door did not lock
