I love love love the Clear Creek campground, Ive been with friends and with family but its always kept clean and inviting. My dad is from the verde valley and from what Ive heard from him, this campsite has been delighting my family for decades! So glad Ive been able to experience the wondrous fall of the Verde Valley.

The view is beautiful! Had a wonderful time. The the road was very rocky and bumpy. Rocked our truck battery loose than leaked fluid, and we needed to replace it. We were stuck up there. We came with other families, so were not stuck. Just be well prepared.

Campsite host was knowledgeable and considerate. Firewood and ice on site was super convenient. Bathrooms are primitive but clean. First time camping and our family cant wait to go back, thank you!

There are two things going for Clear Creek - its location (within 5 miles of central Camp Verde) and the creek (a lovely, clear, cool creek with small pools). Otherwise, it is a rather unkempt, crowded (on weekends) and not very welcoming campground. The price is right, since it is a National Forest Service facility, but there is trash all over the sites, rough picnic tables, and scads of people, often partying into the night. During the week you can hear owls and coyotes - during the weekend, only voices and music. Don't expect a wilderness experience.

As soon as we arrived we met the Host, great guy, gave us all the info we needed and answered any question we had. We were kind of bummed to know we couldnt have music at first but honestly made the trip even better, just enjoyed nature and relaxing. The creek was awesome, clear, clean water and no crowds. The Host would drive around and check in with us, see if everything was good and you can tell he really enjoys being out there. Its a small campsite but super nice. The host did his best to keep the restrooms clean, but some campers are just not the cleanest. Over all great experience, definitely want to go back.

Awesome site and great location, right next to Clear Creek. Caught some fish and went swimming. Hung out and enjoyed the quiet of the remote location. Camp host was attentive and friendly, and quite accommodating. Restrooms were a little fly ridden, but still usable. Plenty of shade, and campsites weren't too close together. Would definitely revisit!!

The campgrounds were kept in great shape and the camp host was very professional and helpful while we were there.Ice and firewood are easy to access if the need arises. The little canal next to the sites is a great spot for the kiddos to catch crawfish. The walk to the creek is a breeze, and the creek is beautiful and cool.The whole family is looking forward to returning this site in the future.St. Pierre Family.

Nice casual camp with running irrigation ditch to play in.

The camp host was amazing!! He was familiar with the area and super helpful. We had our toy hauler and barely fit in spot 17, but he helped make it work. Went to fossil springs one of the days and it was gorgeous!

The campsite manager created an uncomfortable atmosphere. He did not allow us to play music of any kind, including on our phones at a low volume. Without us asking, he entered our campsite multiple times while we were all there, and removed the trash. His presence felt very intrusive and was not necessary or requested. His campsite was located right next to the group site, and he introduced himself right away so we knew how to contact him if we needed to. He also told us that our campsite was filled with rattlesnakes and we cannot go in certain areas. We have a lot of small children in our family and we would not have booked this campsite if we knew about the snakes. Only 2 out of our 25+ campers ever saw a snake, but we were all pretty worried about it during our trip. The campsite itself and proximity to water were big plusses. There is a large BBQ built into masonry that was very helpful during meal prep. There was a lot of space for our group to spread out. We loved having a group campsite together and the location. We would not have booked had we known about the campsite manager and snakes.

This is a nice little campground. Just a heads up that there are large ants all over the campsites! I was nervous at first, but assured by the campsite manager, as he said they did not bother us. Mainly active during the day and gone nightfall. We also had a run in with a scorpion as we were packing up to leave! Even with these issues, we enjoyed our stay very much! Outside the city enough to feel like youre in the wilderness, but close enough to grab any supplies needed or forgotten. Dollar General just down the road too.

Our church group stayed in the Group Site. The space was large with plenty of parking. Because the weather was cool we had just the right amount of shade. May and onward it is probably very hot with so much open space without trees.Host was helpful and kind.

Great booked it again for next year. Camp host, Brian was so helpful.

The camp host, Brian, made this a wonderful place to stay. Brian kept the place peaceful and quiet - just what we were looking for. I ran a resort in Oak Creek Canyon, and ran a ranger station and campground for many years, so I know how difficult that can be. The location was well located for exploring the Verde Valley and the surrounding area. We tried to see Sedona, but it was so crowded, with no place to park, that we turned around and left without getting out of the vehicle.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
