Beautiful mix of pines and meadows. No trash on the ground anywhere! Roads and sites were in very good condition. Plenty of restroom buildings and trash containers. A smaller campground yields a quieter experience, even on a busy weekend. A challenge, we rolled in at 9 pm needing to dump and get water. Nice dump station was closed off during evening hours, and fresh water was also locked in evenings, likely to prevent use by non-registered campers. It would be good to have this in the recreation.gov summary for the campground.

Small, beautiful campground. AZ trail and interpretive trails are close by. Upper Lake Mary a short drive away.

Great campground, especially if you have an RV or Trailer. The bathrooms were clean, the showers were hot, and the camp host was always present if you needed something.

First time camping with my 1 1/2-year-old Great Pyrenees. The relaxed atmosphere was most enjoyable for both the dog and me. The camp hosts were most helpful and friendly. Got home and the first thing i did was book another week camping with my dog. Thank you for a great time away in the woods!

This place is great! We camped here as our base camp to go to the grand canyon. The camp hosts were great! They are constantly making rounds which made us feel safe in an unfamiliar area as well as put our minds at ease about our stuff in our camp while we were gone. The restrooms and showers were very clean. Would recommend this place for anybody looking for a family friendly environment to camp. The tent site was plenty big enough and parking was easy. The fire ring was perfect for roasting marshmallows! We will definitely return here to check out some of the hiking trails nearby!

We have been camping at this campground for many years. The bathrooms are always very clean and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. The hosts make your stay very pleasant as they keep the campground and surrounding area well maintained. There are some hiking trails around the campground and we enjoy hiking and taking short drives to the nearby lake.
