Spot number 9 is beautiful, private and with an access to the creek, spots 6-7 are also nice and private, 10-11 less so and so on. We got snowed on, recommend plenty of firewood and a canopy if you can, also adequate bedding is most important. CHEERS LOVELY EXPERIENCE. Missed out on the Observatory 2 mile or so trail right on the campground.

Sites were pretty well maintained.
Camp volunteer wasnt there our first two days , but that’s understandable since we started during the week. Non peek times. I would recommend atleast some sort of signage for firewood bundles for when a volunteer is not onsite.

My only other observation was that the sites map as you drive in and The sites map on recreation.gov didn’t match up. Which made it awkward for the spots we reserved not actually being together as we thought. Not to mention the day use spots weren’t on either map I believe which threw it off even further.
