This campground was quiet . We did not see any host. It was nice and shaded area with lots of trees. I still had cell reception and I have cricket as my carrier . The only thing is that it was inclined where we stayed at campground # 18 . During the summer it has lots of bugs so I recommend taking bug spray and a mosquito head net. There was water available near the bathrooms .

Be advised there is no water available at the upper campsites. No notice is given on the website. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Campsites were also clean

When we arrived with all our camping gear, after an hour plus drive, we found the campground closed indefinitely for public safety. There was no information provided, nor did we receive an email or phone call.
This was quite unprofessional. Rev.gov is not a trustworthy site.

There were taps but no water came out. Poor woodpecker couldn't even get a drink so I gave him some water.

If you don't like fly and mosquito, keep burning the wood. If you don't have enough wood, pickup from the forest. It'll be free from bugs smoking yourself.
