What a **lovely** campground! Truly amazing. Spots with tons of shade, spots with some shade, spots with sun. Gorgeous trees everywhere, and lots of space between units. We've stayed in 3, 52, and 54. 3 had a little road noise because it's closer to the highway, but not bad. 3 and 54 had an enormous amount of space beyond the campsite to explore. Really nice section of trail next to the campground that's easily found. Bathrooms and sites were very clean and well-kept. We stayed during the week and it not very busy at all. Highly, highly recommend. But behave yourselves and take good care of it. :D Oh, it's right down the road from a restaurant and some other establishments which we didn't visit. There's an RV dump you can pay to use at the Little House Block right next door, but it's small and informal, so don't overwhelm.

Would highly recommend this campground! Camping spots have green areas between them and aren't too tight which is a blessing. The hike attached to the campground, Desert View trail, has a stunning view.

The Camp hosts were wonderful! Had a great time as usual.
Our campsite was very private and away from the next closest campsite. The campground is very wooded and beautiful. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful and maintained all facilities (restrooms, showers and campsites) in meticulous condition. We especially enjoyed our hikes up and down the Pacific Crest Trail. Great views of the desert floor far to the east of the campground.
Excellent

Walking the desert view trail was great. And meeting some of the people walking it that come through the park.

As San Diegans, we come here often with a tent. This time we brought a popup tent trailer. Site 003 in the Lilac loop is huge with plenty of trees. Private except for road traffic. The area extends through the trees all the way to the main road with no neighbors on that side. The driveway is a back-in and it's on a narrow slope. This being my first time driving a popup trailer, parking proved to be a 4-attempt venture. We eventually fit the popup, a large SUV and a Honda Fit in the driveway, tightly. BE CAREFUL OF THE CONCRETE POSTS. Site 003 is a little uphill on a dirt mound above the driveway. Our canopy thing fit nicely over the picnic table. There were several good options for hammocks here and some kinda sorta flat spots for tents. A convenience store is nearby just past the brewery and restaurant.

The campground is HUGE! Its great for strolling, walking the dogs, and site seeing. (Side note: Be sure to check out the rentable glamping sites on Cherry loop). The campsites are spacious with good tree coverage, a metal table, and fire pit. There are plenty of restrooms, water spigots, and dumpsters available. If you enjoy hiking, trail running, or star gazing you are in the BEST spot for all three! You have miles of trail & a great star gazing area just past sites #44 & #47. We spent 3 days/2 nights, with 3 dogs, and would have liked to stay longer. I highly recommend this campground!TIP: Campsite #2-#5, #18, & #19 are close to Sunrise Highway. They were doing construction while we were there which was extremely loud during the day. The hosts were kind in offering us a different campsite. We werent bothered by the noise since they only worked from 8am-4pm. Just want to give you a heads up.

it is a beautiful place to camp. The Host's Becky and Ed are the best. they take care of everything ,keep the place clean. all ways offer help if you need help. Mountain Bike trails just over the hill. The desert view trail that is part of Pacific Northwest trail is there. Some of the people doing the Pacific Northwest trail wondering through are interesting to talk to.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
