Site 007 was great. There is practically no shade during the day, except for a small spot closer to the road, but it allowed for an extra wide view of the sky at night which was breath taking. We had a canopy so it worked out fine. We hiked during the day anyways. I had a trailer and backed it in, definitely a tight turn radius as the description says. I practically had to drive into the camp site across from me to back in, so be careful.

campsite was smaller than expected and came with a metal table- was untouchable without a canopy because of the heat. called over 10 times, no answer-- returned my call 3 days after I had left from my reservation-- poor communication. the signs for yucca loop were misplaced- we circled the campground for ~20 minutes until we asked campers where to go because no employee was to be seen. every employee in this town was extremely rude. no manners. we were 4 young adult girls, who kept the campsite very respectful, and there was no grace given even from the first interaction. the store the camp hosts directed us to for wood made very rude comments about my outfit and the shape of my body-- since i was wearing a sporty outfit in the 90 degree heat. I will not be returning ever and will be straying anyone away. anyone would have a much more pleasant time at any other possible campsite.

We stayed in space number 7 in the Yucca Loop and loved it! The spot was spaced far enough away from other campers which created a better experience. The facilities on the grounds were extremely well kept. I have never stayed at a campground with such clean restrooms before!! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend and I gathered pine cones on a hike to use in our fire that night and one of the staff members gave us a couple of bags to carry them in. I would definitely recommend this campground to families or a couple. It's also convenient that there's a hiking trail inside the campground which means we didn't have to drive anywhere!

Camped during July 4th weekend. The campgrounds is very well kept and the bathrooms cleaned. Firewood is sold for $6 a bundle and can be purchased from host, host drop-box, or if you catch them riding around on the cart. We were at site #7 which has very minimal shade, and we unfortunately didn't have a canopy. Had a hard time finding a level flat spot away from the fire-pit and table for a large 6 person tent with vestibule. Overall a good campground.

What a beautiful campsite. We fit 2 families with 2 tents easily on 1 site. There were so many families and our little kids got to run wild, climb, hide and be kids, unlike at home in a city.
