The campground is beautiful! The hosts were especially helpful and friendly. Feels very "wildernessy," but if you're hungry for brunch, the Pine House is an easy walk from your camp site.

Arrived on opening day and the campground was clean and all the hosts were wonderful.

Great amenities, clean bathrooms, even had showers. Water at plenty of sites. Great trees and fire pits, firewood for sale on site. Loved the stay.

Spacious dry-camping sites with plenty of great walking trail near-by.

RV campers, please note that the public dump station at Buckman Springs rest area has been closed for quite some time.

We had a great time at this camp site. A lot of shade, we did 3 different hikes and were able to walk to 2 of the trail heads to begin the hikes.

The bathrooms and camp in general were extremely well kept-I was very impressed. We even used the showers which were very nice also. We had a great weekend!

We stayed at site 19, which was close to the main road so we could hear the construction going on. I thought it might not be good, but it wound up being just fine (and we overheard some rather funny conversations from the hosts!). I went camping with a 6 month old, a 3.5 year old, and a 13 year old and our biggest complaint was the amount of flies. A little bug spray and that was fine. We stayed during the week so it felt like we mostly had the campground to ourselves because it was so quiet and there was so little foot traffic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were the cleanest out of any campground I've ever been to. The best part? If you go during a new moon or wait for the moon to go down, you can see the milky way. It was AMAZING. We're already in the process of booking another trip and have started going up during the week for day use. This campground is wonderful, and we really fell in love with it.

This was our third trip this summer. Love it. So peaceful. Staff does a great job keeping things clean. It would be great if the hosts had the brochures for The Desert and Wooded Hills nature trails.
