I love my timeouts at Romig. The trail is beautiful, cabin well kept up. Stove works like a dream and the outhouse has some of the best views.

Typically stay in Juneau Lake cabin, but it was booked when I made the reservation, and this was the first time to stay in Romig since it was rebuilt - very nice. It was very icy near the cabin with lots of overflow that was difficult to walk on without falling.I understand the Land Use Plan, but it is disappointing that motorized vehicles are only allowed on alternate years. During our 4-night stay, I did notice Juneau Lake cabin was only occupied on 2 of those nights.

Plenty of snow to ski in November 8th. Cabin was warm when we got there! Great day ski the next day. Lots of dead wood available to cut. Beautiful place!

The cabin was in great condition! Enough wood in the wood shed to make a fire and we came across enough chopped up dead trees to split and re-stock the cabin. The wood stove was struggling so we had to keep the stove door barely open to keep fire lit. Other than that it was perfect! The cabin had plenty of saws and splitters so no need to bring any of that.

The location of this cabin and the craftsmanship is so excellent. The folks who stayed before us left it perfectly clean, we had so much fun canoeing, hiking, skipping rocks and even swimming. We truly love these public use cabins so much!

Romig was the best cabin that we rented along the Resurrection trail. Roomy with a beautiful view of the lake.

Great cabin, great location! We hiked to the Romig Cabin from the south and stayed one night. This is a bright and cheery cabin with many windows and outdoor decking. The location of the cabin on Juneau Lake is a beautiful setting. We only saw a bald eagle at the lake, no other wildlife. There is a leak in the canoe and should be fixed. There was plenty of wood to be burned with a burn ring; however, we did not. The outhouse was in good order. The construction along the trail adds an additional half mile ish and there were a lot of lupine and other wildflowers along the trail. There were also games in the cabin and a really nice information book about the trail and cabin. Lastly, there is a ramp for accessibility.

Great cabin to relax at with a wonderful view! Cabin itself was well maintained and had lots of room. Cons: Canoe had a hole, minimal firewood there.

Cabin was neat and clean. Nice location. View atropin cabin rather bare with all the downed trees.

Cabin was in great shape and had fire wood stocked when we arrived. We split some wood before we left and there were a couple more rounds of wood to be split to continue stocking. There was a splitting maul, axe, and cheese wedge in the wood shed - along with a few different saws to cut more rounds from the dead, down wood around the cabin. Bring your own pot for melting snow on the wood stove as there is not one permanently at the cabin. 11/2/24

Romig is a nice cabin good light with big windows. Beautiful view out on to the lake. In winter it's a bit of a challenge to get water.

This cabin was awesome. Lots of split wood present and we split some more. Canoeing Juneau Lake was fun and easy, 2 canoes in good condition at the cabin. If you paddle towards the north end of the lake you can travel some distance up a creek that flows out of Swan Lake. I miss the camp chairs that were present here last year. Outdoor seating would’ve been a plus.

Great facility, definitely take the winter route, not the overgrown and untracked summer trail.

What a lovely cabin and excellent view. Very clean and stocked with lots of wood from previous occupant. Sadly we couldn’t return the favor as the ax was very dull and us girls weren’t able to use it. Couldn’t understand why the outhouse was so far away; it took several minutes to get to it from the cabin. Also, sadly the canoe had a hole in it so we couldn’t use that.
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
