Good location but sites are not very private and noise carries easily throughout the entire campground. It was very loud and hard to sleep with no one enforcing quiet hours

Nice camp, large flat tent places, metal grill, nearby river, clean toilet, trash container, restaurant near by. Recommended.

The campground host, Scott, was super helpful and kind when we locked our keys in our car, and also when we realized we had booked for one night instead of the two we had planned. The creek is beautiful as are the cottonwoods. The poor spruce trees are dying from the bark beetles and the needles were falling like rain at our second site. The campground was clean and well maintained. It is close to the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable.

We love staying at Cooper Creek South. We camp there a few times each summer. Campground hosts, Julie and John are wonderful. They are super friendly, take amazing care of the campground and show they love us coming down. I wish all campground hosts were that good. Thank you Julie and John.
