The campsite was very clean and the ranger was so helpful. I had a great time with the group I brought, the only unfortunate thing about the site was that quiet hours were too early at 8. Other than that the campground was wonderful. I Will say ,if you havent been here before make sure you have everything you need before you arrive there is no stores nearby.

Bonita campground and host were good. However, I booked at camp site #3 that was supposed to hold an RV that is 21. My RV is 21 feet and it clearly was not able to hold my RV. There was a huge boulder stopping me from completely backing in. I actually hit the boulder and did damage to the RV undercarriage. And this camp site had a steep incline and theres no way I could level my RV.

Everyone I worked with preparing for and executing this trip was phenomenal! First I talked with Marin, a wonderful very helpful kind person. Then I worked with Fin who was very selfless and passionate about the park and our upcoming stay, teaching me about the Coati and talking about the Bear that may visit our campsite. Then Suzzanne Moody called me back to help me regarding my reservation. And finally when we got there we were greeted by a wonderful Campsite Ranger named Andrew. He was very helpful making sure our scouts followed all of the rules regarding hammocks, not collecting wood, etc. Then he let us borrow a hatchet and and ax to prepare the large pieces of wood into sizes ready for our Saturday Scout Campfire program. Everyone was very kind, generous, and went out of their way to make our Scouts have a very memorable lasting impression of Chiricahua National Monument!

The group campsite 26 is so far the best group campsite I have seen. It is big, it is shaded with big trees, and it has a lot of bear boxes and food storage boxes, many more than other group campsites at national parks. The site has a big grill, a small grill, and 5 picnic tables. And the fire pit was stunning. It is a piece of art, made by a stonemason, rectangular, and by size, it is bigger than a bathtub. We had such a great time socializing around it. All 8 tent spots have a gravel floor and are leveled. There is still more flat ground around for more tents. It was amazing that the Campground host supplied a lot of good firewood for free. It was our best camping experience. Thank you very much.

The group site is fabulous! We had 16 students and 3 guides and the space suited our needs. Great tent pads, bear boxes and an awesome fire pit! Quiet, great wildlife, a wonderful place to stay. Will be back!

Camp sites were great even for motorcycle camping. Platforms for tents, shade, tables, running water at the site. Perfect location for access to scenic views and off road trails on the bike. Park employee at the camp site was friendly and helpful. A little noisy with kids in the AM but that's the nature of things wherever you go now.

We were at the group site, #26 and we had no water for our site. In addition, the campground water and toilets were down for most of one day while a valve was being replaced.

I had a wonderful time with my family and friends the camp site was spacious and the creek beautiful. Plenty of grills and tables no need to carry extra tables. We enjoyed the hiking. The camp manager Bill was very helpful, we arrived late and he drove us to the alternate entrance when the creek is flooded. One of my new favorite places to bring my family we hope to come back again.

We LOVE this campsite and location! So much to do, and great amount of space. Camp hosts are great and very welcoming! Things to note: quiet time is 8pm to 7am. Also, we came in March after snow and there was water in the creek to cross to bring our gear into camp. It made it a bit tricky. Also- if you have kids- bring water shoes/extra pair of shoes if there is water.

The group campsite is amazing! It has tons of space for parking vehicles and an extremely spacious campground. Plenty of tent pads, grills, and it even has a huge fire pit. If you have a large group this is an amazing spot to camp together.

The campground was breathtaking, but bring some handwarmers and/or a portable heater if you go because it does get cold at night.

This is a small campground right in the heart of the park. The facilities were clean and functional, the camp host was friendly, and there was a trail leading right from the camp. The camp cant really be reviewed without taking the setting into account. The park was beautiful. We took several hikes, saw amazing rock formations, and often went for an hour or more without seeing anyone else. Such a lovely weekend getaway!
