Everyone I worked with preparing for and executing this trip was phenomenal! First I talked with Marin, a wonderful very helpful kind person. Then I worked with Fin who was very selfless and passionate about the park and our upcoming stay, teaching me about the Coati and talking about the Bear that may visit our campsite. Then Suzzanne Moody called me back to help me regarding my reservation. And finally when we got there we were greeted by a wonderful Campsite Ranger named Andrew. He was very helpful making sure our scouts followed all of the rules regarding hammocks, not collecting wood, etc. Then he let us borrow a hatchet and and ax to prepare the large pieces of wood into sizes ready for our Saturday Scout Campfire program. Everyone was very kind, generous, and went out of their way to make our Scouts have a very memorable lasting impression of Chiricahua National Monument!

The group campsite 26 is so far the best group campsite I have seen. It is big, it is shaded with big trees, and it has a lot of bear boxes and food storage boxes, many more than other group campsites at national parks. The site has a big grill, a small grill, and 5 picnic tables. And the fire pit was stunning. It is a piece of art, made by a stonemason, rectangular, and by size, it is bigger than a bathtub. We had such a great time socializing around it. All 8 tent spots have a gravel floor and are leveled. There is still more flat ground around for more tents. It was amazing that the Campground host supplied a lot of good firewood for free. It was our best camping experience. Thank you very much.

The group site is fabulous! We had 16 students and 3 guides and the space suited our needs. Great tent pads, bear boxes and an awesome fire pit! Quiet, great wildlife, a wonderful place to stay. Will be back!

Camp sites were great even for motorcycle camping. Platforms for tents, shade, tables, running water at the site. Perfect location for access to scenic views and off road trails on the bike. Park employee at the camp site was friendly and helpful. A little noisy with kids in the AM but that's the nature of things wherever you go now.

Lovely campsites with good seclusion from each other. Nice bathrooms. A great place to stay while visiting the park.
