A very nice but small camp site. It is in a treed area. There is a very clean flush toilet but no shower.

Older, smaller campground with mostly tens and vans. Flush toilets (two seats for whole campground) and no showers. Beautiful views of cliffs through trees. Was the quietest , darkest campground Ive ever stayed in. Completely quiet at 8 oclock. Loved it!

One of our favorite recreation areas. Amazing setting with clean, well maintained camp sites. We have a camper van so very easy to maneuver but many sites are shorter and have trees. No electricity and shady if you are relying on solar. The tranquility of the park should discourage dependence on a generator. Lovely hiking in the area with a shuttle up to your canyon for a 5+ mile hike back to the campground. Friendly and helpful camp hosts

This is a Dark Skies park, but park hosts lights at night, all night ,to deter rodents are MUCH brighter than necessary , to the point of making the night time experience less than enjoyable. Very disappointed in his response when asked about it, claiming he could not find any dimmer obviously not much effort made. I appreciate our park hosts, but this is an egregious violation of policy.

Very well kept campground. Friendly hosts. Would visit again.

Loved this location. This one is more towards the back. Close to the hiking trail, away from the entrance, away from people walking to the bathrooms but still close to the bathrooms because the campground is small. Right next to the water spigot.

It was breathtaking, the views were phenomenal! However, the vibe wasn't very welcoming, and the campsite wasn't ideal. Lots of tree cover as well.

Site 14 was very comfortable and clean. Lots of birds and wildlife in the area. Bathrooms small but clean; nice to have lights and flush toilets. Visitor center very close, with free wifi available.

Beautiful campground.

Lovely being nestled among the trees and having a place to walk the dogs along the creek trail. If you have a trailer or rv larger than 24 feet, therer are few options for sites and you should be good at backing up in tight quarters. Site 14 worked well for our trailer which is 24 feet long. Go to Masai Point at sunset. It's a good 45 minutes to Wilcox for supplies. So come prepared.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Hosts were great

I hesitate to say the wonderful things that I feel about my time at Chiracahua National Monument as, selfishly, I do not want to share the place with other people. I felt like I was home while I was there. It was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what I needed to decompress and regroup. As John Muir so wonderfully said - "into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul".

Great visitor center with helpful staff. Great little museum with fine history of Civilian Conservation Corps construction of this recreations facility, trails and roads. Excellent wildlife viewing and great trails leading from the campground to the visitor center and beyond.

A well-kept, quiet campground surrounded by beauty.
Camp hosts were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive.

Look forward to another outstanding visit.

Beautiful campground nestled among the trees. Sites are well spaced and easy to access for our 27' trailer. Camp hosts were fantastic, helping us with some issues with our trailer. We highly recommend this campground!

#14 Nice big site for our 16 ft camper and truck. Very clean and quiet. (They do allow generators---not us, but they must shut off by 8). Quite a few campers with dogs, like us, so lots of greetings. Visitor center friendly and most helpful. We stayed 4 nights and did the rough (high clearance), but fun Pinery Canyon Road to Portal/Paradise one day and Tombstone/Bisbee one day. On that trip the highlight was the Whitewater Bird Sanctuary near McNeil. 10's of thousands of Sand Hill Cranes plus zillions of gold breasted blackbirds at dusk. Lots of birders. Only about an hour south of Chiricahua's. No cell reception at Chiricahua's...yeah!

Beautiful park and interesting rock formations, nice gift shop, great hikes and great tent campsites. Would definitely camp there again.

What a great treasure of a campground. Even though it's smaller and has less sites, it's still large enough to keep you semi-private. There's an actual bathroom with toilets not portapotty along with running water.
Lots of wildlife and great hiking trails in every corner. I can't recommend this enough but hope it had a spot everytime I want to camp.
@RobertD474 · Camped on Jul 1, 2021 at Campsite #14
This is a very nice, small campground close to a variety of hiking trails. The sites are large and spaced well within a figure-eight paved road. The only drawbacks are the two drainage washes and the large boulders within the campground, they can be treacherous for rigs that are near the 29' maximum length.
@GijsV459 · Camped on May 13, 2021 at Campsite #14
Beautiful campground, well maintained with lots of older established trees.
@KathleenH332 · Camped on May 10, 2021 at Campsite #14
The campground was very clean, the site was a good size, with lots of space between each site so you are not on top of each other. Water was accessible and so are the trash bins.
The only complaint is that, although the bathrooms had been cleaned, they still looked dirty.
The scenery was amazing at the top of the road/trails-unfortunately I couldn't hike because I brought my puppy. (this is not the fault of the campground though!) So I hiked the Faraway Ranch trail instead-interesting history there.

We had an excellent experience. If you take a small trailer be sure to fill up your fresh water tank in Willcox first.
