We love this part of AZ and the park but this was the first time we stayed at the campsite. Beautiful, clean campsite - we were very pleased and would certainly come again!

Great experience

Bonita Canyon is beautiful and I enjoyed the campground for 3 nights. If you are relying on solar power only, the campground doesn't have many campsites with good sun exposure. Use the trail head parking lots to get your batteries recharged.

Beautful campground. Registered easily online. Stayed only one night but it was quiet, the bathrooms were very clean and location was perfect. Host was clearly marked if needed. Would definitely like to stay here again some day.

The campground was very nice and the location was perfect. It is out in the middle of nowhere with no services, cell, groceries, gas, etc. but absolutely beautiful.

The campground was clean and well laid out. I really appreciated the heated bathrooms and water bottle refill station at the visitors center.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day and a half in mid-January at the Chiricahua National Monument. I hiked trails at higher elevations during the first day, then set up in lovely site #2 right by the creek in Bonita Creek campground. Well designed and sited fencing preserves vegetation and reduces impact on the ground. I enjoyed the food storage containers and the graded tent platform. The rangers were wonderfully informative about local animals and plants. I spent a lovely evening and then hiked the lower Rhyolite Canyon trails in the morning. I will definitely return, perhaps even before this winter is over.

The campground was very high quality - heated restrooms, prepared tent area, and camp rangers who were very accomodating.

I stayed in site # 2 which is at the north end of the campground, quiet and beautiful as it was a Monday and the camp was almost empty.
I always enjoy the Chiricahuas views and hikes into the hoodoo lands. The night skies are a bortle 2 rating so it's a great location to photograph the Milky Way and other nighttime wonders.

Lovely location, pristine campground. Get your reservations in early, as it does fill up quick...but totally worth it. Be prepared for no cell/wifi service to let family and friends know you arrived safely.

The campground was lovely. All the hikes are worth doing. The highway up on top is 5 miles and looks good for road biking. The only issue for me was only two women's bathroom stalls for 50 campsites. That needs to be upgraded badly.

The staff at the park are wonderfully helpful and friendly.

A very charming, intimate and small campground in the heart of an incredibly beautiful mountain area. The campsites were were wooded, very large and had a wonderful sense of privacy.

Very nice campground. Beautiful setting. Quite and clean. But the campsites, unfortunately, are too close together so there is very little privacy. I wish they would eliminate every-other site and then build a second campground. There is plenty of room in the Monument.
