Love the area and love this campground! We were there during the week in the earlier part of May and it was quiet. I really like the size of the campground with only 25 sites. Camp host was very friendly, and campsites were well maintained, bathrooms were much cleaner this year than last! Plan on coming back next year!

Great little campground even if there is a lot of variability between the campsites. Really helpful campground hosts. I sure wish folks wouldnt feed the pesky Mexican Jays.

Very pretty spot. Did wake up to snow as a cold front passed through & 5000 ft elevation. Campsites for tents or campervans

A great experience! I've been visiting this special place ever since I was a child. We plan to return to Bonita Campground in the Fall.

It was a beautiful campground! The campground host was so nice and knowledgeable about the area. It was quiet. It was sooo quiet at night you could hear absolutely everything. Your neighbor rolling over on the air mattress, and other night time noises. It was kind of awkward being early risers and tippy toeing around making coffee and whispering to each other.

Bonita Canyon Campground is a nice campground with good size spots, plenty of shade and is good place for a quiet getaway. The bathrooms are clean and well kept, except showers would be a nice addition. The staff at the visitors center and the ones that walked the campground each day were friendly and answered questions we had. The hiking trails were 1st class and the descriptions were right on. This seems to be a hidden gem within the park system.

Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful campground. The hosts were amazing, the neighbors were amazing. Drive up to the parking lot at night to see the stars for sure. Drinking water at the site

Very gorgeous and quiet environment! Incredibly attentive and kind staff! Make sure you let all your loved ones know though, you will not have any service out here! Both carriers, AT&T & Verizon, were unable to get any semblance of service. Totally worth it though, amazing campsites and tons of gorgeous trails to hike.

Beautiful trails and the bathrooms were centrally located. We saw tons of wildlife while here (mostly deer and some turkeys). The only thing I would change is to add some fire pits instead of just having a grill.

Wonderful campground and site. Easy to locate. Had a very nice quiet evening.

facilities well-tended, staff polite, but the tent campground is really packed in tightly, and I will avoid from now on
