Nice campground. The spots are close, so you definitely hear your neighbors. However, when we were there first week of December, the neighbors were very courteous. It was quiet. You can take a trail over to the visitor center (.5 miles) to hook up with other trails which was wonderful.

Bonita is a lovely campground. No supplies available locally so come prepared. I wish we could have stayed another day to walk more trails. Its a beautiful location full of history, animals and amazing rock formations.

Quiet, low-key, shady, relatively small with a great campground host. A variety of fun hikes with wildlife. Remote. One of very few campgrounds with many ground tenters like ourselves. The few RVers running generators fortunately were quiet and obeyed the rules. Probably our favorite NPS campground despite the aggressive Mexican jays! Our only criticism is the small, kinda rundown bathrooms. But hey ... We were camping!

Area was very clean . Very nice campground with access to multiple trails from your camp site.

Beautiful spot and generally a calm place. Unfortunately despite barring generators, they allow heaters in the RVs at any time of the night. They can be quite noisy and if you are in a tent, it can be hard to sleep. If you have a hard sided van or RV, it may not matter. Its a beautiful park, and would love it if it were quiet at night too.

Love this campground. Great sites with tent pads, picnic benches, and grills. The bathrooms are clean. The camp hosts are so nice and loved the evening programming. The perfect place to stay to maximize time in the park since all other lodging is 50 minutes away.

The camp host, Delores, was very helpful. I lived the wildlife in the campground. Lots of birds, chipmunks and a few deer.

It’s a very small campground not much privacy.no internet or phone except at visitor ctr and at top of mountain overlook. Water system went down the second day , so no bathroom except visitor center. The staff had annoying habit of just walking into campsite unannounced which being female , I found creepy and inappropriate. Never the less , the hiking was great and the scenery awesome and my dogs could hike with me!

Three whitetail deer came through camp. Enjoyed it. Nice campground, friendly people, and importantly not overly crowded.

Beautiful sky island of Southeast Arizona. Wonderful hiking trails among the crazy rock formations. Campground has large sites and plenty of shade. Great for our trailer. No hookups but other facilities mostly make up for it. Camping in May was perfect as the campground is at the lowest elevation of the park. Will be very warm over the summer.

Although the campground was full, that area and the rest of the park felt pretty empty, which we appreciated.

Was first at the National Monument decades ago but now need to make regular trips. Highly recommend for a 3-night camping stay.

Very clean and very beautiful. Of course the road is horrible to get there and I hope that something can be done about that. We loved Chaco Canyon. Everyone working there was very helpful including the wonderful volunteer in the campground
