Campground host, Wade, was very helpful and gracious. He provided firewood for campers and did rounds at least three times per day to make sure everyone had what they needed and appropriate behavior was maintained. I appreciated the water and clean bathrooms as well.

Woodsy, cozy campground, surrounded by Chiricahua National Monument. Quick stopover, perfect for me and my dog and our van. Nice camp host!

Thanks for having two park host volunteers who are available 24/7 and were very helpful, informative about the park and animals, and extremely professional. The park is kept extremely clean and presentable. Some of the spots are a little difficult to back in to, especially if your RV trailer is in the 20 foot to 23 foot length category, which is the maximum length allowed. Our site was level with good surface for levelers and stabilizers.

Absolutely fabulous campground - beautiful, clean, well-kept, quiet, etc. I never once spotted trash on the ground. Trash & recycling receptacles, as well as potable water and special canisters for ashes, were conveniently located around the small campground. The drive up the mountain to Massai Point only takes 5-10 minutes. I highly recommend taking the beautiful walk from the far end of the campground down to Faraway Ranch. It was absolutely beautiful in the evening. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along that walk (we spotted lots of turkeys).

I Love this place! The hikes are fantastic, the campground is adequate and the visitor center is top notch. The only problem I had was getting into my site 24. My rig is 25.5ft and the slope was down in back, so in order to use my auto-leveling jacks I have to keep my back wheels on the ground so had to pull straight in. There were two big rocks (which should be removed as they serve no purpose!) on the road-site which prevented a clear turn into the site going forward. I had to 'jocky' in around, I don't know, maybe 10 times to finally pull in cleanly. But that was only half the problem as I still had to get out of the site!Anyway, the rocks are AMAZING here so don't bypass this park!

The campground was a great place to spend a chilly night in November. The site was easy to find and the perfect size for our 3P tent, the truck, and a few chairs around the grill. The heated bathrooms made the stay great for my 5 year old son, who loved his first time at the campground. It's proximity to the trails made it great to get two hikes in on a one night stay. I'd strongly encourage everyone to check out the campground and camp. The site is great for tent camping, but judging by the number of small trailers or camp cars set up, you could enjoy it via many modes.

Small campground with easy access to Monument highlights. I recommend calling the Monument office ahead of camping trip as some sites have obstacles (trees, boulders) which could impact parking an RV or trailer safely. Tenters will have no problems. There are two cement wash crossings to maneuver. Its a great location for day hikers to explore. Visitor Center staff are friendly and helpful.

This is a nice campground with plenty of space between sites. The running water and heated restrooms were much appreciated. When reserving a particular site, pay extra attention to the vehicle / camper length limit. Though I was within my length limit for my particular site, it was still difficult to fit my camper and vehicle onto the pad. This is definitely not a location for big campers or long vehicle / trailer combos.

This campground is quaint, clean, well maintained and quite special. The bathrooms with flushing toilets, accessible water and availability to walking/hiking trails were just a few of our favorite things. In my experience, this campground has all the amenities that are necessary for comfort and safety.

Campground with a nice creek flowing through it. Campsites are a little tight, only a few for larger rigs. Bathroom was small but clean with flush toilets. It snowed overnight while we were there but the roads were cleared early the next morning.
