Great, dog-friendly campground! We did the Silver Spur Meadow Trail straight from the campsite and saw lots of turkey and deer and a couple coatimundis. Bathrooms were clean and camp host was super friendly.

Great stopping point for the one night I had.

This is a nice campground but could be a great campground with a bit of improvement. Perhaps that will come if the monument does indeed achieve national park status. For now, many of the water stations are closed due, I was told, to faulty pipes. We have a 17 trailer and many of the sites cannot accommodate trailers of this size; the majority of sites are for tents. With that, the Chiricahuas are spectacular and worthy of exploration. We had a great stay in site 11 (one of the longest, mostly level).

This is a beautiful campsite with flush toilet and running water. Some sites are small and unleveled, but our site (site 11 was perfect - wider & leveled.

Wonderful campground. Very quiet. Well shaded. Some water spigots did not work, so make sure you come fully prepared. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. The visitor center is very nice and informative. The night sky is unbeatable; highly recommend driving up to Sugarloaf or Massai points for an endless starry night sky view. Dogs are very limited on where they can go; I wish there were more trails with dog access for those of us who are responsible dog owners and pick up after our pets. You will be off grid with very limited cell service at the top of the vista points and the wifi at the visitor center...but that's perfect for those of us wanting a true getaway.

Bonita campground reminds me of my favourite camping trips taken with my grandparents. The sites are spacious, with numerous trees, wildlife, birds, friendly people.

Beautiful campground, with lots of views of unique mountain formations. One of the safest feelings we ever had in a campground. Very nice and clean campsites. Restrooms clean and has running water. After coming home, already made another reservation.

One of the nicest campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at! Our sites, 11 and 12, had plenty of space with nice level pads for the tents and a good distance from neighbors. The bathrooms were super clean and plenty of soap and toilet paper. A beautiful setting and can’t wait to go back again sometime. It was great to have a path to the visitor center and hiking paths and next time we’ll make use of the hiking shuttle.

Absolutely delightful old fashioned campground - very quiet with nice trees and melodious birds. Didn’t even hear any generators - the small rv and car camper crowd that fits these spaces tend to be quieter. Rock formations and hiking trails are spectacular.

ample space between spots. #13 best for kids and dogs -{plus no one on either side - just lacking a bit of shade}. #7 was nice and cozy with plenty ofshade...... I enjoyed.

Loved the campground and Chiricahua NM. I do wish that the campground had showers, that's the only improvement I'd ask for

The host is a nice guy. Nice clean campground and well maintained. That sites are a bit too close to each other.

We have stayed in this campground a few times, and it's always a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The campground is always clean. The dark skies are great for star-gazing, and the wildlife is very fun to see.
