This campground has been a family favorite for us over 65 years!! My family and I have enjoyed the beach and lake year after year. HOWEVER, the past few years have been spoiled by the forest rangers inconsistent enforcement of rules. Pets have been allowed to run unleashed, spurs have been regraded and are now dangerous with uneven drop offs, and shortened with no room for tow vehicles and boat trailers. This limits the sites available for most modern camping units! Rangers are rude and defensive! This is extremely unfortunate for many longtime campers!!

We have been coming here for over 40 years. Im sad to say things have been going down hill. Bathrooms are not kept up like they used to to. No firewood to purchase at camp host. One of our sites had a lot of garbage left behind by the previous campers. Very sad to see this campground that use to be a great place to come turning less desirable.

This is our most favorite campsite to go to. Its close to home, nice sandy beach and affordable. The sites are always clean and the camp host is always friendly and easy to chat with.

Beautiful sites
with some on the lake
the road into the campground was the only thing to complain about
need to improve the gravel-washboard road
