My husband is disabled and we had to take a non lakefront site only to watch #30 site sit empty because the people who reserved it didnt show up or call and cancel. The nice campground host seen his struggle and came to tell us the people hadnt shown up so we could move to it. People should be penalized if they do this on their next reservation.

I enjoy spending time at Onegume but I wish some of the trees would be trimmed up in the sites as well as bringing in some class 5 to the sites. The area has beautiful hiking areas in early May before the bugs hatch.

This place seems to be going downhill. Fire rings are rusted out with huge holes along the bottom edge and hadnt been shoveled out for a while. The new camp hosts arent a very visible presence. Rules arent being followed or enforced. Way too many people are cramming into individual campsites with multiple camping units and extra vehicles. We were there for a week and the overflowing sites were the norm so apparently the rangers are allowing this to continue. Its not great place anymore. The old camp host, Keith, seemed to be more involved in what was going on there.

Facilities were well maintained, clean, and easily accessible to all campers. Private trails to the lake were a nice surprise. Availability of the Lodge next to the campgrounds where ice, bar, food and some essentials are available makes this campground even more appealing to the tent camper such as myself. Appreciate to electricity and water is close at hand.
