We were just at Onegume campground for a week in September with mostly super nice weather. While you are there the Lost 40 is a great place to go several miles north on 46. We were there several years ago, quite a good hike through the trail but so worth it. We are not capable of doing it now so I am glad we did go before. Also if you like chicken, stop in to Leino`s Bar & Cafe. They have the best broasted chicken ever!!

I will not be returning to Onegume in the future until the electric power is replaced. I have returned to Onegume for quite a number of years and being there for several visits over a summer. At least 5 years ago I was told that new electric power was going to be installed with 50 amp service to each site. That has not been done as yet and I see absolutely no indication that it's being planned. On the 4th of July the power went on and off all day long. The camp ground wasn't even completely occupied. That was a load problem because there were more RV's than the system could handle. I won't submit my Rv to this kind of abuse from low voltage and constant on and off. The host is very good and attentive to the maintenance and guests.

It`s always fun to come to Onegume Campground, a very well kept up park. A nice place to enjoy the outdoors, go fishing with a boat or fish from the pier & take in the sunshine. If we catch a fish it`s always a bonus while visiting with friends. The hosts are always ready to help if necessary. We were just there for opener with several other friends that we have camped with for many years. Except for the wind, it was perfect.

A very nice facility. Many of the sites need some fill to prevent accumulation of storm water. The electrical facilities are severely inadequate. Most if not all of the sites have only only 30 amp service. At times the 30 amp service is interrupded because of too much draw on the system. The sites need to have some trees removed on the road entrance to facilitate backing in the larger rvs. Nice to have the forrest buffers between sites.

The host was friendly and accessible, pit toilets and park are clean. Pretty campground. There is power but no water hookups or dump station.
