Very sad to see the campground with a lot of empty sites including highly wanted lake sites just because someone has them reserved for a few days. We do not like this reservation system at all. These city weekenders are not spending money in our local establishments like the locals who have been camping for years and staying much longer. I believe this is a true shame seeing these empty sites and not to mention the loss of revenue. We have been camping for 50 years and never seen anything so stupid as this reservation thing. The younger generation also is giving up camping because of all the hassle to reserve 6 months ahead of time. Not playing this game anymore.

The sites are large and generally well maintained, I did notice however, the grass down by the lake, on the lake sites, was getting very over grown and needed to be mowed or weed whacked. Toilets were clean, as clean as a one holer can get, always plenty of toilet paper! Campground host was easy to work with, but usually wasn't there until later in the afternoon. I'll be going back to Onegume whenever I'm camping in Minnesota.
