When we arrived there was the previous persons stuff still at our site. We could not get a hold of anyone on the phone. Positive note: The host was able to relocate us to another camp spot but we would have been really upset if things ended up to were we could not have camped and were sent home. We had a great trip but the start was a bit rocky.

Campground was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Park gate closed at 10 so this kept rift-raft from driving thru. We told the host to keep up the good work to make it great for families to enjoy.

We absolutely loved this place! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The views of the lake were awesome. If we had 1 complaint it would be no water on the sites. Otherwise it was a great trip!

Negative: The access to many sites, including mine, are very tricky. Steep path, loose rocks and sticks, roots and such line the path in and out. This required careful walking, especially when unloading and loading. The tent fly stakes would not pentrate the ground. I borrowed a hammer from the hosts and was able to finally secure the stakes -moral of the story is to have a hammer in the car. I would have had to leave otherwise. The bathrooms were dirty and the water for the showers too hot.
Positive: Sites are large and tree shaded. Sites on the water are beautiful and the kids enjoyed playing in the lake (unguarded). Mostly quiet guests. Screech owls calling at night.

Such a beautiful and largely spaced out campground that is family friendly. We absolutely loved it and will be going back!
