Site #10 30amp electrical connection had an open ground. Camp host allowed me to move to site 16 (reserved for overflow). After day two we had to depart early due to controlled burns in the area. Smoke levels were too high for my wife and me.

Only stayed for 1 night and less than 24 hours but we enjoyed our stay. Booking was convenient and the site worked great for our needs. This location was great and near the rafting outfits which is the reason we booked this location. I would stay here again. Our visit was satisfactory.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Close to the lake which is a plus.

Stayed in site 15. Road shoulder needs building up. Front of truck drops off while swinging to back in. Glad I have 4 wheel drive.

We stayed in Site #14 Weather was great and it was so peaceful and quiet. The entire area is clean and well maintained. We were there weekendf of October 13th. We were in our RV so I didn't use the shower house but my husband said they were really nice and clean. Can't wait to go backD. Mavity

Parksville Lake CG is a small, quiet campground, and well maintained. The CG hosts were very friendly, as were other campers that walk by the campsite. The bathhouse is clean and bright. There's only one bathhouse with one shower, but it was always free when I needed it. I'm a mtn biker and access to the Chilhowee trail system is a very short ride to the trail head and the trails at the Ocoee Whitewater Center are 10 miles east, a scenic drive through the gorge. I camped on Site 14, an interior site, so I did not have the creek side experience. Plenty of tree shade and good space between campsites. I really enjoyed my time there.

Be prepared to fill water tanks from the 3 spigots on site. Depending on what site you have, you may have to carry just a bit. But all in all, a beautiful, shaded place.

Very nice small campground. About 15 sites, all with electric. Central water spigots were easily accessible. One small bathhouse with only one shower. Clean, but could have used a coat of paint. Lots of wildflowers, especially wild Iris, Solomon's seal, and Trilliums. Two pull through sites, all the rest were back in. Poison Ivy EVERYWHERE!
