Beautiful, forested campground in the mountains. Tent camped. Level gravel pads. Sites very clean. Bathrooms and shower the cleanest we have experienced while camping. Friendly, helpful hosts. Quiet, family atmosphere. Plan to camp here often on our way to and from Florida.

Small campground, with some sites along the stream, with only 20 or so sites. Flush bathroom with one shower each for male and female. Water pressure great and very comfortably warm water. Electric at sites and water available at pumps located throughout campground. Many hiking trails in the area and, for rainy days, not too far to Lookout Mountain GA where I highly recommend Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens. Visited in November so no rafters in the Ocoee River. The TVA works in coordination with local rafting/boating companies and floods the river on many weekends in warmer weather for whitewater thrills. Flags from the many countries that participated in the Centennial Olympics in 1996 still fly at the parking lot. Make sure you stop at the ranger station and get trail maps that list the mileage and the difficulty level of the trails in the areas.

We loved our camping spot by the creek. The sites are rather small, but accommodated our 17 foot trailer easily. They do have flush toilets. It's a small Campground and very quiet. The Camp hosts were very accommodating and helped us find things to do in the nearby area.

Awesome weekend. Did not stay on the lake too long with the kayaks because it was a bit windy. Beautiful area though, plenty of trails and fishing to be had.

Beautiful campground! Great place to spend a long weekend. Well maintained facility and super nice campground host. Will stay here again.
The best campground hosts I have ever seen. Attentive, friendly, observant and happy. Website should show no water hookups but community shared, if staying a while make sure your site is within hydrant reach. Otherwise itโs fantastic

We had a wonderful time camping at Parksville. The kayaking was awesome! The mountain bike trails were exactly as we remembered. The campground staff was very helpful.
The park has excellent camp host. They were very cordial, helpful. The restrooms were clean. The camp site was clean and well maintained. The campground was quiet and peaceful. A very beautiful campground. My wife and I were very pleased with the nice environment for children. Many were riding bikes and having a marvelous time visiting.

Lots of privacy and quiet in a woodsy area close to many outdoor activities. Electric hookup is very good, campground well kept along with a well designed dump station. Verizon cell is spotty for texts only. Busy on weekends, good availability Sunday night through Thursday in late season.

The Park Rangers in that area are sooooooooooo kind and helpful with your campsite set-up. If you have something out of order (like I did parking on the grass)....they are very kind to explain to you that you cannot park in that area. A new "fade" for parks is now called "Frisbee Golf" where you shoot to get your Frisbee around various park locations. Please ad one.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
