We reserved & stayed at site 7 and it was a great location. The mosquitoes were GIANT, so dont forget your bug spray! Zero ticks. There were two pit toilets & a water pump available for use. Also trash/recycling on site as well. Cell service is spotty on the way in and non existent at the campsite. Would definitely return for another adventure.

This campground was clean and safe. The lake was gorgeous and well loved. Fishing and kayaking or even taking a small John boat out would have been wonderful.

Had a great time at this small, quiet, peaceful spot. I was hiking the North Country Trail which just skirts the edge of this campground. It has everything a backpacker needs...a water pump, dumpster, bathroom, picnic table, fire ring, and spot for your tent. And it's pet friendly. But absolutely no cell phone reception, so be aware of that if you are trying to coordinate with other people. Loved the space.

Wonderful except the bugs. We've been camping at Beaver Lake for over 30 years, and ID4 weekend for 6 or 7. and this was probably the worst that we've experienced for mosquitoes and deer flies. Fortunately we had a new screen tent that served us well, and a combination of DEET on clothing and Natrapel on skin. Always bring those things with you, this year, use them! Otherwise a 5-star campground, and as always, my Happy Place.

Overall experience was very good. Campsite needed cleaning and it looked like garbage had not been picked up all summer.

Beautiful, quiet campground. Our favorite place to get away from IT ALL! (No cell service!) This is our favorite USFS campground on any National Forest we have ever visited and we come back every year. Glad Wisco/Beaver Lake Rd is finally reopening.
