First time visiting after school started, so quiet and peaceful as nature reclaims its balance. The cabin was nice, but with two sets of bunk beds it was rather cramped. It would be better with just one set. The heating system was wonderful and kept the chill away during our stay. The substitute caretaker wasn't as outgoing as Chase and Lisa, but they earned a well deserved vacation after a busy summer. Lost Lake is a priceless gem in the Nicolet Forest.

Lost Lake cabins are a back to nature rustic camping experience where we had a family get together over a campfire and games. If the weather was nicer their is a small inland lake.

Excellent place to get away. Beautiful clean and quiet lake, clean cabins, friendly hosts and plenty of things to do.

We had a fantastic stay. The cabin has all that you need to be comfortable and in great working order. There are no little annoying things that take away from the outdoor experience. It is plenty cool, even on hot days, because the cabin is in the shade. Much of the area is handicapped accessible, this cabin is not however. The cabins and facilities are well cared for and the lake is clear and cozy, not overrun. There was enough cell signal to get text messages however this is not the place for you if you can't "disconnect" from electronics. Nearby Lost Lake has a very good cell signal. Careful with Google Maps, we had experiences where we were taken down some rough roads that appeared to be "roads" but were mixed use ATV/UTV and may not work for smaller cars and especially not in wet weather. Stay on highways/wide gravel roads if possible.
