Awesome place sites are well spread. Camp host was really nice and helpful. They have firewood and the bathrooms and showers are really clean. No cellphone service for verizon.

I really like this campsite, having stayed in the same tent site on three occasions. I like the lake for fishing. I like the trail up to see the Appalachian Trail. I like the distance between campsites so you have privacy. The managers, Jeff and Stephanie, are competent and caregiving.

My son and I had an outstanding time at Lake Winfield Scott. Both camp host were so helpful and accommodating the experience would not been the same without them. The country store 10 minutes away was nice to top off ice or if needed receive phone service. The drive going up the mountain is beautiful. Stoping at the overlook parking is a must wonderful views. Campsite clean all area maintained and clean.

We were in site 1....wonderfully close to the restrooms but not right in front of them so we weren't bothered by all others using them. The sites are nicely space to give each one a sense of some privacy and the area is maintained beautifully. We love this campground!

It was a nice quiet weekend at Lake Winfield Scott. The site manager was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower hot. We enjoyed our time.

Its our favorite campground. Quiet, great hiking, lovely lake to swim, friendly host, clean bathroom, and cool nights in the Summer.

I Can't possibly say enough positive things about this beautiful mountain campground, the facilities, and the way the place is maintained. I have stayed here numerous times and have never been even slightly disappointed in the experience. Please give the maintenance staff six stars for their great work and hospitality.
