It was cold and snowy this Easter weekend but it just made it more memorable. Beautiful clean sites along the canyon walls are such a great vibe. Wonderful spot.

We really enjoyed staying here. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. It was very quiet and well maintained. Chaco was definitely worth staying at for several days to try to see everything. We stayed for four days/three nights and it definitely wasn't enough. There is wifi at the visitor center, which is nearby and open every day.

Although the road in is pretty bumpy, the campground was good. Recycling and water available. Amazing place to visit.

The closure of the campsites in the small box canyon was a great disappointment, although I understand the safety reasons for doing so. The campground is too crowded and all sense of privacy is gone. The biggest addition that would be helpful is some sort of coverage over the picnic tables. Shade is essential to make the campground comfortable. My campsite was stiflingly hot in mid-June, while the picnic tables at the Fajada Butte Overlook were quite comfortable because of the shade provided by the latillas.

Lots of changes to park since last visit. Bathrooms, water other things that had not been available in the past. Liked the looped road also.

Nice small campground in a beautiful setting. Great hosts.

It is a smaller campground so I would definitely make reservations. There are clean bathrooms with running water and flushing toilets. Camp sites are roomy with parking for 2 cars for tent sites. Campground staff are incredible! There are two hikes from the campground that are super. Wajiji goes to a big house and the Fajada Butte overlook trail is great too. Hiking the other trails requires driving to trail heads so plan to have a way to get there from camp.
Beautiful setting. Restroom very clean and warm. Good water supply. Campsites seemed too close together.

Beautiful campground and nice facilities considering how off grid it is. The road was fine to access from the North - we had read a lot of negatives about getting there but any four wheel drive with decent clearance should navigate it all with ease.
Only negatives are the campsites are a little close together and there is really nothing to block the wind if you are tent camping.
very pleasant easy to find campground at Chaco Canyon. really nice clean bathrooms. really happy everyone wearing a mask as appropriate. would definitely stay again.
