Beautiful, like a postcard. We spent more time in the campground than usual because it was so gorgeous. Bathrooms were clean and the campgrounds hosts were friendly, helpful and informative.

Excellent campground. Clear night skies & loads of wildlife. Firewood available & they ask for a donation instead of requiring payment. Didn't see any of the half dozen campers donate anything the night we stayed. (Our site was near the firewood) Really sad.

Very lovely and quiet campsite with all the amenities a camper may need. Close to all that Cedar Breaks can offer. Ill be back next year!

It is conveniently close to the rim and trails. That is about the only advantage. If you have a self contained RV, avoid the campground and disperse camp outside the Monument on National Forest Land. Plenty of room for dispersed camping just a few miles down the road.

Beautiful campground, very quiet, dark quiet nights. Great accessible trails right out of the campground.
Only minor complaint is that the sites could have less "twists" making leveling quite difficult

Great campgrounds, great campsites, great host, my wife and I and dog and kids have been going up there for years. The host, Jerry, is the best, hardest working, most helpful and professional host we have ever met. We feel safe and comfortable camping there!

My family had the most wonderful time here. So peaceful! We went over Labor Day weekend, and some flowers were still in bloom. It was stunning. We will be returning again!

The altitude is higher here than where we hiked about 20 min away, so plan for that. The grounds were well kept, it was quiet although the site was at capacity. There was ample firewood for sale. There was a flushing toilet and a shower, which were unexpected and very nice and clean.

Grabbed a campsite from recreation.gov at last minute on a business trip to Vegas from Salt lake City. Easy to book via the website. Just a one night stay but it was absolutely awesome. Camp host was helpful and the rangers gave me some great advice on where to set up for some late night astro-photography under a new moon. Cedar Breaks is a favorite daytime stop of mine but a primo campsite in late September can't be beat. With hot showers and convenience facilities in the center of the campground and low crowds, early fall is the way to go at Point Supreme! Temps were a little cold but OMG the night sky was amazing! I grew up in rural Southeast Alabama and I thought I had seen clear skies before. That said, 10000 feet elevation and low humidity equals "astounding." No moon yet I was casting a shadow under star light. I plan to do this again at the first "warmer" opportunity! This place is a hidden gem. A bit of advice about using the booking system on rec.gov though...there is latency in the update of available sites. Even if the website shows a campground full, there still may be fallout availability. If you have the time and patience, and still wanna go to a specific place that is showing "full", just show up and ask the camp host. I got REALLY lucky at Arches this past October and it was even more amazing!
