The road work improvement really messed up and cancelled 2 days. But, Tim the host was very helpful in moving us around.

Loved the campground. We had reservations for campsite 17 but moved to campsite 18 because 17 was a bit tight for our trailer (we have an 18' and could not get enough out of the road to use the slide-out on the driver's side). The campground itself had water available for trailer fill-up (just to the left of site 18!). Restrooms were clean. Showers were available but we did not check them out (had our own). The trail (cement) from the campground to the overlook was a beautiful easy 1.5 one-way walk through wildflowers. It looked and smelled delightful. Camp hosts were very nice and helpful! We will definitely come back!

This is the perfect summer campground to escape the heat at 10,300' elevation. It's a small campground with one restroom, which only has one toilet in each of the men and women's rooms. Offsetting that, though, is the free-to-campers hot showers! On clear moonless nights, you can often see the Milky Way, many satellites, and shooting stars in the sky. The wildflowers are blooming everywhere in late June. Beautiful place. Terrific campground hosts.

Everything about this campground is wonderful, from super helpful camp hosts (Thank you Paula!) to the best hot showers ever. A little challenging to get level, but it can be done. 10k ft elevation is too much for some, but we were fine.

Most sites here, especially sites 7 through 20, overlook the lovely meadows surrounding the campground. The two showers are a great amenity and they are unusually well designed; each has a nice private changing room as well as a shower stall. Awkwardly, the tent pads in most sites have hard stony soil and it is easy to bend even a strong steel tent-stake while trying to drive it in or pull it out. However, beware of the tent pad at site 25 which is a mud puddle. Overall this is a really excellent campground in an a very interesting monument (be sure to visit all the viewpoints).

The campground was clean and quiet and the camp hosts were very nice. There was lots of shade and the area is absolutely beautiful. I could walk to all the trails from my campsite. I will be returning again for sure!

Lots of dogs. A nice campground with good facilities, but with the allowance of pets, approximately half of the campsites had dogs. Some were very friendly and well-trained, others ran off leash through the surrounding meadows, chasing animals and barking until late at night. If you like dogs, this will rate higher for you. As a family with a toddler, the off leash dogs and barking made walking around the campground scary for our little one and made sleeping difficult at night.

We love Cedar Breaks, and this campsite is small, beautiful, and quiet. Visitors can easily hike from the campsite to the visitors center, though better footpaths would be preferable. Also, there is only one toilet building for the whole campsite, which means only one toilet stall for all men/boys at the campsite. This is a big problem, especially when families are camping with young children. At least two stalls are needed in both men and women restrooms.
