Hidden treasure. Beautiful views within walking distance on good trails to the visitor center and overlooks. Small and quiet campground.

The host was great, the access to bathrooms and showers was great - I heard they are even warm showers! The sight is beautiful and the paths are as well - it appears to be wonderful access for other-abled guests as well!

A pretty nice campground situated in the subalpine zone. The rim is in walking distance although with the construction of the new visitor's center access was blocked off to Point Supreme but it was a moderate walk on the bike path to Sunset Point. The trail out to Point Bartizan was also accessible. The campsites could be a bit sunny since the trees in this climate zone don't tend to form thick canopies. It was quiet, there was water, and the bathroom had flush toilets and showers. The only downside was that there was only one toilet per sex which makes it easy for the restroom to become unavailable when someone is a bit slow.

Gem of a find! Small campground so not many people. The area was absolutely beautiful with some walks to incredible views. We will definitely be back!
