Great location, amazing views, and friendly staff. This is an excellent retreat from the summer heat. Alpine-like surroundings. The camping area was clean, and the spaces had reasonable privacy. Great star gazing!

We stayed here 1 night in end of July on a weekend. The campsite was full but we had reservation - # 18 - walking distance to their shower/bathroom. Host keeps the campground well managed and clean. Bathroom is one of the cleanest bathroom in camp. Please note there is 1 toilet per bathroom area, 1 sink. Temperature was in the low 50s. Trails nearby to Cedar Breaks National Monument, about 10 minutes drive to Brians Head Peak Overlook and about 15 minutes drive to Brians Head. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

I'll never camp at Cedar Breaks Supreme again, even though it's nice in many ways. In making a phone reservation we could get no information about the sites. When we arrived our site was unsuitable for our 22' RV but we made the best of it -- putting Lynx-Leveling blocks under wheels, which took 30 minutes to get right -- but had to park near the edge of the street to make it work. Camp Host on duty was nice and said it was OK with her. Next morning a new person took over as Camp Host and made us move. Insisted it was unsafe even though we had orange cones and the street was wide at that place. Just finding out from him where we COULD go was difficult; he seemed reluctant, and he had limited information about which sites were available. He finally allowed us to go to one of the 2 handicapped sites, saying, "I don't like allowing non-handicapped to be there, and I can't guarantee you won't have to move again." Sure enough, he made us move again the next day, and added that we might have to move the following day, too. This is all true and it was hell.

We loved this spot! We arrived after dark so we didn't know what our surroundings looked like until morning, but once it did it was beautiful. Our site was spacious and near the bathroom (but not too near) and the bathroom and showers were extremely clean and well maintained. It was very cold that night but it didn't bother us since we were in such a lovely place. The drive up to this park and campground is rather steep but nothing you can't handle. The park is small but the colors are so impressive and we can't wait to return in the future.

The site we had originally chosen (#18) was completely unsuited to a small RV. It was impossible to level up. Your reservation profile should indicate this. Fortunately, the host was able to set us up in a more appropriate site.
