Beautiful campground, high elevation, great views. Campsites are very close together with no screening. They have showers, which is great, but there is only one restroom stall for women, and one for men. Very busy am and pm.

The campground host, Kevin, was very welcoming when I first arrived. I scoped out the campground on a previous visit, so I knew which sites were nice. The free, hot showers were a huge plus considering I had been hiking all day. Gorgeous night sky. Beautiful wildflowers. Impeccably clean bathrooms and showers. Nice, flat tent pads that was semi-secluded amongst the pines and away from the road. A few things to be wary of: make sure you bring solid tent stakes. 3/4 of mine bent due to the firm nature of the tent pads. I spent about a half hour trying to stake my tent. Lots of barking dogs. Earplugs were needed. There is only one toilet stall per gender for the entire campground. Don't stay on the inner portion of the loop as sites can be tight. Site 1 has no shade. Didn't see a usable spot for a tent at site 14.

Must sees - Angel Falls, Grosvenor Arch, Willis creek Slot canyon, red canyon, Grand Staircase (Devils Garden) and lower falls hike.
Astrophotography is awesome if your into that.

The campground was clean, showers were great! It was nice to be able to take our dog for a walk from the campground to the sunset view area along the concrete walkway. Since dogs aren’t permitted on unpaved trails in most NP or NM we appreciate the NPS adding concrete walks for those who are disabled plus those who travel with dogs may also enjoy. Deer were frequent around the campground mornings and evenings grazing in the meadows below. The night sky was amazing and the campground was very quiet. We look forward to returning once the new visitor center opens.
