Josh the camp host was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had enough water. This campground needs to have a water source. We had checked here the weekend before we left and it said there was water. I wish you had sent a separate email notification stating that there would not be any water. We were not prepared for no water. It is not like you can just pop out and get some. When will the water be fixed?

I had chosen this site because I have an upcoming hunt in November 2021, when I reserved I had explained I had a 42 foot trailer I requested a pull through when I arrived there was no way I could pull in to park my trailer I had to back in which took some time to maneuver in. It did take me about 45 minutes to finally maneuver into the spot I was assigned. I really enjoyed being in The area we were in. I do understand it was a Primitive sight. Camp host was gone for a day and a half unavailable to assist.

We really enjoyed this remote campground. The drive was absolutely beautiful. We reserved a primitive campsite over Labor Day weekend - there were several other primitive sites as well as sites with hook ups. It was busy, but not full. There were several people camping that had their horses, donkeys, etc. There is a small lake nearby. We didn't have any luck fishing, but the view was picturesque. The only complaint I have is that we were strangers to the area and it seemed a bit difficult to get clear directions to the campground - however, we were extremely happy with how remote it was.

We reserved a specific spot well in advance. When we arrived that afternoon, the campground host had given our spot away to someone else and did not want to ask the people he had given it to to move. He moved us back on the loop that had horse corrals which we did not want because of the smell and flies.
The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, a definite health hazard and the "bear proof" trashcans were human proof as well with padlocks on them all. This campground is so far removed from any assemblance of civilization and takes you over an hour to get back to it, that you are stuck with what you get when you get there.

Love this campground...been going there for 15 years. Everyone should bring their own toilet paper and some kind of fly repellent.
