The site was was totally inaccessible. There was hardly any room to park the car and we drove a Camry. The site was completely flooded, with 3-6 inches of water engulfing the entire site. The camp hosts did not warn us, so we drove all the way up there to find no place to camp. Wish I could give a no star rating.

Site 5, listed max length as 25 ft. We couldn't even get our 15 ft trailer in to the site. Ended up leaving and losing out money. Would've been good to know a little more info about this specific site before booking

This was a great base camp for the region. We had a great time. We went 6/12-6/15 and it was just about perfect weather. We stayed in #5. The nights were cool and the days were warm but all around pleasant. The whole area is gorgeous and green.

There's ATV traffic going up and down the road to the upper campground but it was otherwise quiet, and people seemed to respect quiet time.

The campsites are well spaced out and back from the loop a ways. It was more private than most campgrounds.

There aren't many hikes inside the campground area. It's just a short car drive to some astonishingly beautiful places (Richmond, UT)

To get into the campground it is mostly paved but there's a dirt section that has some deep washed out spots. We were in a Subaru Crosstrek which had no problems at all. A low-slung sedan would need to dodge the dips.

The river and the trees give a great constant backdrop of sound to relax to, or fall asleep to. Most of the campsites don't have direct access to stick your feet in the very cold water though. Some do.

Oddly, we spotted no ground critters. No chipmunks/squirrels/racoons. The bug level was pretty low, too, especially right by a river. It seems to be the domain of birds.

Our spot was a bit muddy to walk into but otherwise fine. Bring some boots and a tarp. There are some potential ankle-twist spots on the walkways so be careful carrying things. We'll be back!

Beautiful campground. We had a nice campsite that had a good amount of space around the fire. Far enough away from other campsites so we didn't have to see or deal with others. Overall a really nice campground, not suited for large campers or many vehicles very limited space for vehicles and camp trailers.
