We love this site! It is back from the road, but close to the bathroom. My kids enjoyed soaking their feet in the river that runs by it.

I camped at site 2 in mid-June 2023. The site is right on the river, as all sites in this campground appear to be. It was running fast, high and cold. If you're with kids, be sure to keep a very close eye on them! There is a narrow, muddy path, maybe 50 feet, between the parking space and the campsite, which got very slick after it rained, but provided a lot of privacy. This site is very close to the water spigot and outhouse, but in warmer weather, it might be close enough to smell the outhouse. The sound of the river drowned out all noise from other campers and all but the most aggressive ATVs going by on the road. A wander around the campground showed that the sites are well-spaced, and most have a good deal of privacy as well.

A few downsides, previous campers left a ton of trash in the site, including pallets full of nails. I cleaned up as much as I could, but wish people would be more respectful. The fire ring is nice and big, but could use the ashes cleared out and the surrounding trees trimmed. Leaves on the closet tree were scorched. Also the reservation cards weren't updated, but luckily no one snagged my spot before I arrived late on the Saturday.

The original campsite we reserved was unusable so we paid for a different space which was great! We got our money refunded for the unusable campsite!

We stayed at campsite 2. Pretty small area to park my truck camper - not sure anything larger than 20ft would fit. Campsite was right next to the river. The river was running pretty swift. We had 3 small kids (6, 4, and 2). I wouldn’t stay this close to river during the runoff.

Campsite itself had nice sized fire pit. We used the bbq stand for grilling hotdogs and warming up our tinfoil dinners. Was nice option to have available. Kids had fun running around campsite and playing.

No issues with noisy neighbors. The road was extremely busy with ATV/UTV/Motorcycle usage.
