The campground is beautiful, the weather was perfect. We had four tents spaced out and room for a couple more. The parking wasn't ideal, a great deal to do with the road being flooded (which is definitely not typical and something they couldn't control). We had two trailers and eight vehicles and were told a couple of times that our vehicles were in the way and had to be moved. I'm not sure what the parking would look like on a typical year, because there is a site across the road that would normally share the parking space as well, so I think it would still be tricky parking. But overall we loved the site and plan to be back again.

The campsite was well laid out with a lot of spots for tents. The staff did a great job cleaning our toilets & keeping us supplied.

We used group site #3 for a youth camp and it suited our needs very well (25 people). Plenty of flat tent sites, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and a convenient cooking/eating pavilion, though it's long overdue for some maintenance. We did a couple of the hiking trails from the campground which were beautiful and accessible for all ability levels, and spent a day playing in the water at nearby Glendale Reservoir (about 30 minutes away). The only disappointment was the severe disrepair of the amphitheater with most benches completely fallen apart, which is a shame because it's a great space for skits, devotionals, etc.
