Extremely friendly host. Great location. Truly is one of our favorite spots to camp.

Beautiful campground. Great access to trails and the stream. There's a lot of privacy and quiet.

Paris Springs campground itself is beautiful. The facilities are nice and very well maintained. We reserved campsite #7, which was over run by the river. The campsite had dried out a bit, but was not useable. The picnic table was displaced and there really wasnt a viable place to put a tent. Fortunately we were able to share another site with family members.

This was a beautiful place to camp. We loved that it was a small campground so not a lot of people! The hike to the springs was a delightful bonus! The camp host was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This campsite is in full shade with water and a vault toilet on site. Eckert, the camp host was amazing. Very friendly, accommodating, helpful and did a great job of keeping the restrooms in tip top shape. There are a few things I am shocked that no one has mentioned in previous reviews. First, this campsite will not hold anywhere near the number of people advertised. We also rented site 001, the other group site, and it also will not hold the number of people advertised, nor does it have parking for that number of people. But at least site 001 is on flat ground. Site 012 is entirely on a slope. So if you want to set up your chairs around the fire pit, you are either leaning backwards, down the hill away from the fire, or leaning toward the fire. We had a pretty good sized family group, with a lot of toddlers. And the little kids were always tripping and falling all over the place because the campground is on a slope and it was just awkward for them. There are a good number of picnic tables that are pretty level, and you can manage to find a few tent spots that are mostly level. There is quite a long parking area that would fit maybe three to five camp trailers, but the entire parking area is also on a slope. So unless you bring enough lumber to build a house, you're not going to have the material needed to level your trailer adequately. There's a small parking area at the base of the campsite for extra parking, but absolutely not enough to accommodate the cars of the number of people this campsite is advertised to hold. If our family reunion group had more than four camp trailers, we really would have been in a bad situation because there would have been nowhere for them to park close to the campsite. In a beautiful area, with lots of trees, but I would not book this site for a family reunion again, unless most of the people were in tents and we had a much smaller group than it is advertised to hold

OMG!That was an amazing camping for us .

Site 7 was completely flooded out. Camp host was great and offered a new site as well as information for a refund.

This campground is beautiful. We loved the shade and the stream meandering through. Site 10 was big enough for 4 tents. We also enjoyed the short hike to the spring. Our only complaint is the long walk to the bathrooms. :)

I have been camping here in the past and loved it. This experience was by the far the worst. First off, the drinking water was brown, and we didnt have much for our first night there, and had to boil any we needed. Secondly and most importantly, it seems there is a new camp host that isnt a very happy or kind person. A simple misunderstanding about what we thought was a first come first serve site (website said it was, wouldnt let me reserve the second night as it said FF) turned into a hostile and frustrating situation. Host threatened to call the cops on us, insulted us, refused to listen to our side of the story, and refused our money when he claimed we hadnt paid. We were shocked at the lack of professionalism and understanding. We packed up and left like he yelled at us to do (he came over several times just to insult us), very quickly and haphazardly, damaging some of our gear. We had just come back from a long day at the lake, exhausted. I sobbed for a good three hours after this. We were meeting family we hadnt seen in months, and our trip was cut short because of an inaccurate website and incredibly rude camp host. Please do not camp here.

We loved staying here with our Young Women! The camp host was wonderful and very helpful! Would definitely stay here again even with the mosquitoes!

Camp spot 7 is no longer a camp spot The river diverted so the entire area is full of water and despair. Luckily the camp host was well aware of the issue and had saved us a spot up the road. He was great to work with.

Camp spot 6 is a beautiful camp spot next to the river with trees great for hammocks, but be wary fellow travelers it is lousy with skinwalkers and shadow moose.

We booked site 9 and 10. Both were awesome, but only site 10 was big enough to accommodate our large tent. I think it's 1020. Both spots were right next to this gorgeous steam/spring. It's ice cold though so don't plan on getting in... it was August. It's a very densely forested area, but the clouds left and the sky was perfectly clear. So beautiful. In the morning it rained lightly but was no big deal. It was too stormy to go to Bear Lake but it's close enough to enjoy it easily. There's no signal (we're on the Verizon network). You have to drive a few miles back to Paris Idaho for a signal. There's also no firewood available for sale at the campground. However, the Paris Country Store before you turn to go to the campground has huge bags of firewood for super cheap..7.00 in 2024 The clerk there was extremely nice too. They also have ice if you need it. There's also an ice cave nearby that sounded fun, but my kids are special needs and needed to get home. I would have stayed longer if we could. They have 2 bathrooms that are vaulted and extremely gross but they usually are. Oh and the bathrooms were not near our campsites. Kind of a walk. Not huge but don't be in a hurry to use the bathroom. LOL Site 10 has a water faucet and site 9 didn't.. weird. At least we couldn't find one. I think that pretty much covers it.

**Campsite 001 does not accommodate 100 people!** Maybe you can squeeze 40 to 50 people..it would be tight. There were lots of hornets August 8-11th is when we went. There's only one bathroom for this site and the whole time we were there it didn't get cleaned. It's a beautiful area Paris Springs and the caves and Bear lake is all close by and that was fun but the campsite itself is the problem the director drives by four or five times a day takes pictures and video of you. It feels like an invasion of privacy. Just wanted to let you all know cuz none of this information was there when I was looking it up. No service for T-Mobile or Verizon

Beautiful campground! Host was excellent: helpful, accommodating, and generous. We saw the ice caves, went to Minnetonka Cave, and spent a day on Bear Lake. Had a couple cold nights and the mosquitoes were pretty bad the first couple days (due to rain?), but even with that, we had a pretty perfect trip! Thank you!
@CharlesN925519 · Camped on Jun 12, 2024 at Campsite #11
The group areas did not accommodate as many people as posted on website. There were only two latrines for the whole campground. One is located next to group site one and the other next to group site two. Each latrine had one toilet. The mosquitoes were very bad. Each campsite does not have water.

We were in campsite 3. It was quiet with only 3 other sites being used. There was flooding in a few of the sites. We really liked the campground host. He was kind and accommodating! Love this place.

Stayed here while visiting Bear Lake NWR. Fine for one night.

We love camping here when we visit Bear Lake. It is a quiet small campground. The stars are amazing at night from this spot. You should take the short hike to the natural springs. The trail begins at to top of the campground.

Great campsite except, trimming should be done to open it up more.. Site#7

Paris Springs is a small, secluded campground away from the busyness of life. It's beautiful, quiet, and wildlife can often be seen in the vicinity. The hike to the springs is a fun family activity!
@jays8053974 · Camped on Jun 18, 2022 at Campsite #10
Campsites were well maintained and private. Vault toilets catered to the needs of the group sites but individual sites didn't have easy access to them. Water taps in most of the sites was a luxury. Really liked the remoteness of this NF campground.
@AnaG1344389 · Camped on Jun 17, 2022 at Campsite #8
Great campsite! Super easy to find, clean and very close to bear lake! Will definitely be camping here again.
@hannahs3959546 · Camped on Aug 28, 2021 at Campsite #6
This is the perfect campground, especially if you are trying to get away from the world. Super pet friendly and awesome. The only downside is you need to pack out your trash so prepare for that. They only have two bathrooms that are right next to each other so depending on where you are in the campsite, it's a bit of a walk, but still isn't too bad. We were in spot 6 and I would go back in a heartbeat. It was so beautiful and so private. To be honest, I think that was the most private spot in the campground, however they are all private and beautiful. No cell service, and it's a bumpy road, but it's everything I wanted from our camping trip.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
