We had a fabulous Warm River adventure, once again. Weve tent-camped there for years and it is our all time favorite campground. This year since our timing was a little later than usual, we worked with Outdoorsy and had a camper placed on our site. Under that wonderful canopy of trees with the river singing, it was again perfect! Well be back next year as Warm River calls us

Our favorite camping location. We go every summer. The facilities are always clean and the grounds are taken care of. We love to fish and float the river. Not to mentioned its a great location to take day trips to West Yellowstone, Island Park or to go into Yellowstone National Park. This year was the most excellent due to the camp hosts. They worked hard to make it a great experience. Super friendly and approachable.

Campground closed an hour before arrived due to bear activity. Trying to get refund but put on hold 21 min. Still on the road with limited services. We had to stay in a hotel because not able to find tent site.

Nice camp good camp hosts! This camp in bear country and I find it hard to believe that some people do not adhere to the rules which can equate to a very dangerous situation. I observed a woman empty her skillet in the river and wash it at the water faucet Her claim was that the host said it was ok to do so .I replied that was not true and it was not ok I later ask the host and.she told me# 1. it was not ok and #2 .the hosts never told that woman it was.The host then told me there had been evidence of a grizzly in camp that night.

We love Warm River!

We are local and only live about 45 minutes from here. Still, we make a point of camping here at least once every year. The campground is always well maintained, and the hosts are very very friendly.

The river itself is pretty shallow, and slow moving. It's very popular with people on innertubes, but is not deep enough for most canoes or large rafts. This means a lot of families and no professionals. Don't let the name fool you though, as the water is not particularly warm at all.

There are lots of grassy areas in the campground and it's a great fit for tents. Not a lot of spaces for campers or RV's though, but the few spaces they have are typical of a campground with no hookups.

We have never had an issue with mosquitoes here, but they are not completely absent. Nothing of major concern, for sure.

If you're a fisherman, this is a pretty great stretch of river as there is a major fishery about 1/4 mile downriver where fish spawn. That being said, you'll have to contend with a lot of innertubers if you are trying to fish from basically 11am to dinnertime. Early morning and early-late evening are ideal.
