Such a beautiful area! I enjoy the trail for walks/runs, husband loves the river for fishing. So much to see around the area too. Camp hosts were AMAZING! We just loved them! Also, I’ve NEVER seen such clean camping restrooms EVER! We love it at warm river, we don’t love the mosquitoes…but love the area it’s beautiful!

We were unable to stay in the spot we had reserved due to a bear coming into camp the night before, but the camp hosts moved us to another sight which was first come first serve in the lower camp area. The Warm river is wonderful for family tubing down the river. Wide and shallow and slow flowing. We watched many families with children of all ages really enjoying the water. Bike trails in the area were wonderful. We rode up into Island Park from the camp and back. We drove to Mesa Falls which is within 10 to 15 miles from the camp. A must see visit. Glad we were able to spend two nights there.

Positives: Friendly Host, Site on the river, Nearby trails, can get a reservation while all others near Grand Tetons are first come first served. Negatives: 2 hours from Grand Tetons, Mosquitos, No bear boxes but warnings to use them, no market nearby.

We arrived late, about 9pm, to find our reserved spot occupied and the camp host sound asleep. He had mistakenly told the campers they could stay another night even though I had reserved days in advance. We found a less desirable spot to set up for the night and were able to get a refund. I've never seen more spiders inside a bathroom, and I love spiders! We stayed in August 2019, hope they have a new host now because the campground and location are lovely.

Mobile Data Speed Map

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
