The campground was beautiful. Lots of wildlife after all the other campers left. The oaks provided sufficient shade for the site we were in. Plenty of parking. The bathroom with the pit toilets ran out of toilet paper one night but that got remedied the following day. Good view of the lake from some sites. Getting down to the lake was easy, too. The one moderately annoying/unsanitary thing that bothered my group was people bathing, washing their dogs, and cleaning dishes at the one spigot near our site. Please don't do that and fill a bowl or tub to do that at your own site to keep the water source clean.

I love all the trails and all the walking you’re able to do just beautiful.
