What used to be one of our favorite places to go during the spring has become the worst to go during mid summer! Now that there are no hosts, just about every law is being broken. Not only is it impossible to get to the water unless you have a boat, it is hot, loud, and super crowded. We love coming here off-season when the grass is green and it is less crowded but we will stay away during the summer. Here is all the rules broken this weekend: 24 hour generators, excessively loud music, use of a handicap spot without display of handicap placard, 5 vehicles in campsite, over 25 people in site for max of 8, riding in the back of pickup, tree hammocks, whacking at trees to get wood, boats and vehicles parked off pavement. The rangers rolled by a few times but the abuse was so overwhelming that they just kept going. I sure hope they get this under control. Group sites filled beyond max, so I guess they are not concerned about Coronavirus. So sad. These are the people that will end up closing down our parks.

Very hot to hang out in camp. Best if you have a boat and can enjoy what water remains. Overall a decent stay.
