Great campground!!!! My wife and I come here every year for our anniversary. It’s a very short walk to the shore, far away from the crowds, and with only ten sites it never feels like a camptopia experience. There are no rv hookups so there’s never any generator noise. This year our camp hosts Michelle and Rick were absolute gems and we are hoping to see them again! 2 things to keep in mind though: First, there are bears. They are smart SOBs too. Don’t be stupid. Never, ever leave your food or trash out! This includes coolers and even toothpaste. If you let your guard down for even five minutes, they will come, you’ll be upset, and they will keep coming back to YOUR camp. If this makes you uncomfortable, maybe look for a different campground. Second, if you book any site except 1,2, or 3 you are going to have a steep walk uphill to get to your site and if you aren’t in great shape or aren’t used to the thin air you’ll be cursing the stairway in no time. Try to bring the bare minimum. For me personally, these two things are what I like about Kaspian, but for others it might be something to consider. Ps The star gazing in the parking lot at nighttime is unreal.

Beautiful campsite! Clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful camphost. We enjoyed the bike path along the lake.

IMPORTANT NOTE: campsite 4-9 are top of the hill. you need to hike uphill (with your camping stuff) for 2 min to reach it. Good access to beach though.

Kaspian is a great place to stay if you’re thinking to camp out. BathroomS are kept as clean as they can. And there is a ranger on site 24 hours.
Advice: choose campsites #1,2 and 3. These are the best campsites in the whole campground because they are at the bottom. The other camp sites are on a higher lever, which means you will have walk up and down steep stairs through out the day: it gets tiring after two days.
But over all, it’s a good quiet place.
